from the Silly Rumours dept. There are a lot of articles out there claiming "Linux on the desktop is dead". Meanwhile, Sun has expanded its Ubuntu support, Microsoft and Novell are forming a Linux compatibility alliance and Oracle is plotting "Linux World Domination". (Okay, that last one is server stuff).
